I was wondering because I'm doing research for a tattoo. Agapo is the Greek verb for 'I love,' but I don't know how to spell it with Greek letters.

Hello, you are right, the verb "agapo", means " to love", while "agapi" (αγάπη ) is the noun.
"Agapo" in Greek looks like that " αγαπώ" , in capital letters is "ΑΓΑΠΏ ". Actually we say for " I love you" Σ'ΑΓΑΠΟ ( σ'αγαπώ), /S'agapo/.

Other derivations are those adjectives "agapimenos" ( αγαπημένος, dear, beloved), agapitos (αγαπητός, beloved, precious, dear )..

Hope that helps!
Have a great day!

I'm not sure how to spell it in Greek but in English we usually spell it agape' referring to God like love even to the point of giving your life for someone.

agapo is indeed the greek word for - I love - ΑΓΑΠΩ - αγαπώ

Usually we would say s'agapo - Σ'ΑΓΑΠΩ - σ'αγαπώ - meaning - I love you.

Agapi - ΑΓΑΠΗ - αγάπη - is the greek word for love as a noun.
