I wrote this guy I am intrested in a letter asking if he wanted to be freinds. Had a friend give it to him he read as he was walking. I was to afraid to look litteritly. I watched his butt walk down the road quit a view too. Yummy!!! Anyways he didnt talk just kept going reading the letter and putting it away it included my cell number so he could call if he so wanted. And also told him I am at the school alot with freinds running around.

I didn't think I could go ahead with the letter, and I shocked myself. But what are the odds that he will reply??

I figured it would be better to start as freinds and go from there. I mean what could it hurt at least I could get to know him "Before" I told him I liked him.

I think the important thing here is that you had the guts to do it. Most people don't even go as far as you did and always wonder what would have happened if ???? You on the other hand took charge. Bravo to you. If he calls good if he doesn't at least you gave it a shot. Think positive that he will call.

Grr Women! Advice please??

If you are interested in him why push him away? We men have enough friends. Why did you ask him to be friends if you are interested in him in another way?

It is bad enough when we like a woman and they tell us they just want to be friends, it is the worst line to experience someone you are interested in saying to you once you like them. At least you saved him some face, gave the uncomfortable and demeaning line to him in the beginning, and allowed him to walk away inwardly and socially unscathed. Kudos to you...if only other women were so thoughtful from the outset.

Now if you are really interested in him...show him your interest without mentioning the word "friends."

In fact, erase it from your romantic vernacular all together- you'll be much better off.

The odds are against a reply, if he's interested in you he will already feel he has an uphill battle ahead. So, I guess, if he contacts you that says a lot about him. Good luck with this and don't categorically devastate future romantic endeavors with the word friend- us men would appreciate it. Thanks.

-Just noticed that your picture and name is male. I guess if you are gay and you are interested in a guy, not knowing if he's gay as well, then using "friends" gives strong enough a hint. You are fine if this is true.

first off, do you want to be friends or are you trying to pick him up> with all the *** lookin and number droppin it sounds like you want him as a bf. either way, guys have to act cool and not look desperate so he'll call you when he thinks it's a reasonable amount of time gone by without looking like a wimp. this can feel like forever in girl time hahaha.

you put yourself out there..if he doesnt respond he is not interested..point blank. doesnt mean that as you mature he will not be...boys are really stupid...they always want what they cant have...so if you act like you dont want him...they usually love a challange and will start going after you....i know, why all the games, because we have animal instincts, and guys love a challange. dont be upset if he doesnt respond, there are plenty of other guys in the world and your whole life ahead of you.

If he was interested he would have said something. Now you are going to be a bet that he will get in you underwear.
