I'm a girl–14. I know how peeps like this think. What you do is this: you smile at her, try to joke around with her, tease her, and eventually send her gifts, or put a note in her locker saying "do u want to go to the movies?" or something

If you're both in the eight grade that means that you'll be her age soon I guess, if you skipped a grade and it's actually year this may be the problem, or she could just not like you. For instance, I would never date someone younger than me. That's just how I am, I do think age matters. I don't think that women should be dating someone younger than them it doesn't make them look good. Then again maturity plays a big part, I just wouldn't and couldn't do it. She may be like me. If she doesn't notice you now, chances are that you're not her type or she just doesn't care. You could try to show her the real you, but then again why would you want someone who isn't attracted to you. Yes it is all about inner beauty but the problem with that is that, if you don't marry someone who you're attracted to physical(NO I'M NOT SAYING THAT LOOKS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, BUT IT IS VITAL) when you're type comes along then what? You just don't want to take that chance. If she's not physically attracted to you, she won't be attracted to you later, in which you would be making a grave mistake. There's someone out there who thinks you are beautiful don't waste your time trying to impress one girl who could really care less. If she doesn't show any signs, ask her. Make sure you tell her you like her first, if she says no. Then move on. If she says yes, which I doubt, good for you babe. I wish you all the luck!

Be yourself! Start by being nice to her, walk with her to class and casually help her carry her books sometimes. Maybe get soem info from a friend of hers (every group has one girl that really talks.)

Age is nothing that's not even a year since you're both in 8th grade.
My boyfriend in jr. high was is younger than me too by a few months.

If the girls is not interested - No big deal, maybe she wasn't right for you anyways. In time - you'll only get stronger.

Don't worry to much about the rejection, and show self confidence, it's an attractive quality! start with settle flirting and see how she reacts! Be yourself if she don't like it than she's not worth the effort

This is the best answer you will get.

You are 13, for the next 20 years do not focus on one girl, focus on girls in general. Take what you can get, improve your game. By the time 30 rolls around, you can take your pick.

As far as your question, just find her ugliest, fattest friend and go be nice to her. Thats all it takes...

If she talks to you at all she likes you at least a little.
Swallow your fear, just talk to her. Show confidence (even if you don't have any). And just care about her. Learn everything you can about listening skills, and put them to use. A good confident listening boy is rare, and will thus be irresistible.

Not to be rude, but you can't get a girl to love you. If you ask her on a date alot, she will feel like you are pushing her to go on a date with her, and that will push her farther away from you. You may just have to face it REJECTION HAPPENS.
No one always gets what they want.
If you guys are meant to be together, you will know it.

a year doesn't make a difference; especially if you are both in the same grade.

Flirt with her... When she sees that you are interested in her, she may become interested in you.
