The problems I have to confront in this crap-fest called "Life" aren't as plentiful or heavy as I imagine they would be without His influence. I COULD be happier in life, admittedly, but I'm still young. Got a long time left for me to achieve my life goals. :)

The answer to your question is in the first sentence of your post: "anyone who loves God."
I love God, and I believe that He has a purpose and a plan for my life. He doesn't answer all my prayers -- at least not in the way that I thought I wanted them to be answered. And yes, there are times when I have doubts.
But He has never failed me, even in the toughest times. So yes, I can truly say that I am the happiest of people because I am living a life of peace and purpose.

Yes God has answered many prayers. He saved my Dad, four days before he died, and my Dad was 91 years old and had scoffed at the bible all his life. That is just one of the many incredible things I have seen God do, in my life and the life of others, since I became born again.
I've studied the bible for years. I've seen it proven true all around me. I have a blessed hope. Not only does God give me a song in my heart for this life.....I am promised eternal life with Jesus. I do believe I must be one of the happiest people on earth. He has revealed great and mighty things to me.....that I knew not, given me wisdom, joy, strength, trust in His word.
No I never doubt His existence, even when things aren't going my way. It doesn't matter. I have decided my life is no longer about getting what I think I want...it's about showing others the love of Christ, and His promise and the hope that can be found in Him!

Yes, He does answer my prayers and Yes he has given me joy and peace in my life where there was turmoil and grief. Have I doubted His existence? I have questioned it sure. However He has been so faithful that I can no longer doubt it. He walks with me daily and I never feel like I have to go it alone. It is an amazing life. There are bad things that happen but He is right there to talk to and to show me what to do. The Bible calls it the "Peace that passes understanding" Thats my experience.

No, good things do not always happen to me. No, He does not answer all my prayers. Yes, I do at times doubt His existence No, I would not consider myself the happiest of all people. So, what keeps me going? I know this will sound silly to most but you asked an honest question and I'll give an honest answer. Hummingbirds. I simply cannot fathom such a creature apart from God.

Once you've seen God through the scriptures and truly experienced the living Word of God and have eternal life, how could you stop going on? When I was an early Christian I did question whether or not God was real. After thoroughly examining the scriptures and being convinced it is divine in origin I have absolutely zero doubts that God exists. I have absolutely zero doubts that Jesus Christ is God.
After knowing this the things in this life grow very dim. I don't live for the things of today but rather live for the things that count for eternity. I eagerly anticipate the eternal inheritance that awaits my future. Yes I am happy and at peace.

My faith, and close walk with God keeps me going. The Bible saids, Ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock, and it shall be opened to you. I trust in Jesus. He has answered many prayers for me, and i know He will answer more. He always supplies my needs. We may not get everything we want, but He supplies our needs, if we truely trust in Him. Satan is always trying to discourge me, but i keep looking up to Jesus. He wins the victory. I have never doubted God. He gave me His assurance, the day He saved me.

So much to say in just one answer. God gives christians the power thru The Holy Spirit indwelling us, to discern truth, to feel and know joy that does not depend only on circumstances, to recognize His hand touching our lives, to recognize miracles that happen in our lives, to accept answers to prayers that are not answered in the way we wanted or thought they should be (because we trust that Our Father in Heaven knows what we need more than we do), to praise Him for answered prayers, to recognize our Master and desire to follow Him no matter what, to love above human love and to know He loves us beyond what words could ever describe. Some prayers, we do not get answers to, but we trust that God answers in His timing and for our good and His glory. Once you have Jesus living in your heart, hear His voice (in your mind), feel His love, protection, and guidance, there's never any denying Him. Yes, I am always joyful. Events still happen that saddens me because I'm human, but thru the trials and tribulations in my life, I turn to my loving Father in Heaven who comforts me and I know no matter what happens to me in this life, I'm in God's hands. Nothing can happen to me unless it passes thru God's hands first. Everything works for my good and the glory of God as stated in His Word. This is why I urgently want to share my faith with nonbelievers so that they can taste the Living Water too and never die (spiritually). Thanks for asking. May God touch your life as well.
