You will be lectured by everybody, you will be ticketed and fined, and, depending on the state, you could be denied coverage even if you aren't at fault.

Do you mean, you had no insurance? If so, you will be ticketed for driving without insurance, and your car will not be repaired. The other person may have insurance, but their insurance company is going to contend that, you would not have had the wreck, if your car had been parked at home. Since you were not legally supposed to be driving, you would lose any claim you held against the insurance company. You could go through civl court, against the driver that hit you. If they have no assets, and low income, you probably won't receive anything, you'll win a judgement, but they won't pay, so it's worthless.

You should NOT be driving if you have no ins! I got hit by a fellow, he was drunk, no license, no ins. Totaled out my truck, I lost my job due to the fact I could not work for five months. I finally got a legal judgement against him, BUT, as his WIFE owned everything, I cannot recoupe even a small portion of all that I LOST to this bum! Get a life, AND get some insurance before you ruin someones life!

I know that in MN, you are at fault. No matter who hit who. You will get a fine and have to pay for the damages made to the other vehicle, suspension of licence and maybe some jail time stayed as long as you pay on time. And to get your licence back you will have to show proff of insurance supposed to carry it for a year, but I never did. But make sure that you pay the fines and insurance co. otherwise your licence will be suspended again.

Sorry to be so rude, but how do you expect to get any useful information without providing some details. We can't give you any worthwhile help without details regarding the accident facts, what state you are in etc.

So if you care to go back and edit your post and include more information then you are more likely to get responses that will help you.
