Well first of all it all depends on your maturity level, how long have you known the person and what is their sexual history. If you are under 18 years old I feel that you should wait. Actually we all should wait until we get married but hormones rage and duty calls. If you are willing to make the person go to the clinic with you and you both make sure there are no sexually transmitted diseases, and you love and respect one another then possibly you can take it to the next level. If you want a boyfriend or girlfriend I think if it is ok with your parents you should be able to have a boyfriend or girlfriend at the age of 15yrs.

Sweetie,i believe you should be old enough to understand the concept of having a relationship. There is no way on this little great earth a child needs a boyfriend. However,i have seen it,ten year old children having boyfriends and girlfriends.I know at younger ages they go through many phases where they want a boyfriend, and then he gets cooties, lol. At 10,they are past that stage and entering their pre-teen years. It is not necessary for them to be worrying about having a boyfriend.I simply think it is when you are old enough to understand the concept of a relationship.I dont believe that even at 14 and 15 you should be in a serious relationship. They do not understand the concept and many do not take it seriously.16 or 17 is a little more realistic in terms of committing to that "Boyfriend/girlfriend" title.Although,it is ok to go on dates before that age of course, just dont commit to someone at a younger age as they do not hold that committment, and do not understand it.Good luck hun,and have a good night!

Only you can answer this question. If your ready to have a boyfriend or girlfriend, you will know. Everyone matures at their own pace. I was 20 years old before I had a boyfriend. Don't let anyone pressure you into doing something your not ready for.

i think that theres no exact age. but nothing younger than 15 i'd say. i had many of opportunities to date people when i was younger, and i turned them all down. i went on some dates and never preceded to go on another b/c i just didnt like them. i guess you could say im picky but i dont think that its really necessary to have a boyfriend unless you find someone that you actually like and want to be with forever. i have been with my boyfriend for over a year and hes my first boyfriend. i was 19 when i started dating him...and we plan on getting married in the future. i just didnt want to waste time with guys that i knew i wouldnt have a future with basically.

Well, it depends on the person. I think everyone has their crushes from early on in life...
I'd say actual dating though at age 15-20 [like I said, depends on the person].
