Hani ~
Mayweather will win a unanimus decision or possibly stop Oscar given Oscars recent statement "People ARE going to be surprised by how I can match his speed" If Oscar tries to outgun Floyd speed for speed the above is/ will happen. Oscar can only beat Floyd one way and one way only. Floyd can beat Oscar several ways.
The really sad thing about is I hate Floyd. Thanks for the question Hani.

Come on guys get real,,,Mayweather is an excellent fighter but you have to look at the facts,, this is not in Mayweather's weight, he has ballooned up to this weight just to fight De La Hoya,, Oscar is stronger, taller and more experienced and to be honest Mayweather will not be that much faster than Oscar either,, Oscar has fought the best of the best, who has Floyd fought,,, as a matter of fact he has evaded all of the champions in the 140 and the 147 weight class,, I mean come on Arturro Gatti and Zab Judah how handpicked were they. Lets look at the stats they both started out at 130 I do believe, you tell me who was more dominating in the 130,135 and 140, De La Hoya was unstoppable, Floyd just got buy on points,,,, and heaven help him if he hurts his hand against De La Hoya,,,, if he does it he will be knocked out...... Man total destruction unless Floyd runs for the last 6 rounds

Wow. Everywhere I go I find uneducated boxing journalists LOL. First of all, Oscar was not "dominant" at the lower weights. An objective observer will remember John John Molina, Pernell Whitaker, Felix Trinidad, Shane Mosley, Ike Quartey. He was not dominant against any of those fighters so get your facts straight son. If anything Floyd had one close fight against Castillo and embarrassed everyone else. Secondly, Floyd is MUCH faster at any weight than Oscar. The 2.5 inches will not matter as their reach is the same and quickness level is not even close. Oscar also came up in weight. Floyd did not have to pack on pounds with Mackie Shilstone like Michael Spinks or Roy Jones Jr. on their way to the heavyweight crown. It is a few lbs. and wont make an ounce of difference come fight night. Skill trumps the tiny size differential. And even if Floyd Sr. did teach ODLH many tricks, it won't be enough because Jr. is a freak, and when I say that, I mean he is scary fast and quick, his defense is second to none, and he throws combinations so fast Oscar's only chance that night will be landing a lucky punch and then following up on it. Many fighters have landed good punches against Lil Floyd but none have been able to follow up on it. Don't expect Oscar to either. For the uneducated, bet your $$ that sometime between rds 8-10 that either the ref or Freddie Roach will put an end to the slaughter. Afterwards Oscar will say "I thought I could impose my strength on him but damn, he was just too fast. I couldn't even see the punches coming at the end." Ring Magazine you have my number. Call me.

I've lost track of how many times I've answered this. 10,11. OK here we go again. Mayweather by split decision. Check my other answers.. but if DeLaHoya gets to Mayweather each and every round tiring him out Mayweather is in trouble late in this fight. Oh I forgot, don't bet on the fight. It is a toss up.

If he doesn't get careless and walk into a big left hook, Mayweather should win a decision.
