It's a really terrible idea to try to gain weight by eating high fat foods. You will feel sluggish and your body will be unhealthy.
You'll gain weight if you take in more calories than your body burns. The extra calories don't have to be fatty. Are you lifting weights? Muscle weighs more than fat.
Try adding fat free powdered milk to any soups, cereal, sauces, milkshakes and other foods you eat. Eat at least 6 meals a day. They can be very healthy meals, not just junk. Eat more fruit, dip it in regular yogurt. Eat veggies, dipped in regular veggie dips. Eat a couple pieces of whole grain bread with your meals, add a pat of butter or a couple Tablespoons of peanut butter to the bread. Eat baked beans on bread, for a complete protein. Grab a handful of almonds, walnuts, or other healthy nuts throughout the day. Drink fruit juices with your meals. Put a piece of cheese on your sandwich. Add some Ensure supplements to your diet.
You don't say how tall you are or how much you weigh. You may be one of those people with a very fast metabolism, who is meant to be thin. Even if that's so, if you take in more calories of anything, you will gain weight. You can gain and still eat healthy.

Don't think that fat is the way to gain weight, it's how you eat. You want to gain some weight drink one of those shakes before you go to sleep, it will turn into fat because you will not burn it off before bed. If you try and eat higher fat you will just build cholesteral. A lot of people who eat fatty foods so they can gain weight so they can join a sport will have major heart problems later on in life. Also if you are going to eat foods higher in fat try going for nuts, they have a healthy fat, and are high in protien which is great for mussles. To list a few other healthy fats which will help you gain weight check out flax seed oil, olive oil, avocados, butter(it is natural). Well I would love to keep going but just be carefull, the last thing you need is to develop eatting habbits you can't shake(unless they are healthy choices)

Peanut Butter
Cheese
A lot of meats (beef)
I don't know, but there are a lot of things you can make with those three things. Most foods that come from an animal are high in fat. Haha... gaining weight should be fun. Pound down the oreos and pizza.

I couldn't tell you all of them. Basically you need to eat food that is rich in protein. That will help you gain some weight.

Pasta, Pasta, Pasta--I don't know how high in fat it is, but it's definately high in calories. Avocados and various nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, etc...)are also high in fat. I wouldn't exactly dive into junk food, you will feel yucky. Good luck!
