Did you watch the news? 120 units of pollen per cubic foot is considered MASSIVE, well during the past few months, there are 1,000-8,000 units per cubic foot in texas! I would suggest get Nasanex or Afrin that stuff works pretty well, try staying indoors, and drink lots of liquids, you'll just have to wait it out I'm pretty sure your body will adapt and if not eventually there will be less pollen as the season changes, good luck and I hope you feel better :)

I'm so sorry you are suffering! You should probably see an allergy specialist (not just a regular MD), and get specific treatment for what ails you. If possible, you might want to consider moving to a desert area. (My niece did, she is off almost all her meds now). If you find you do well in air conditioned buildings, then maybe you just need a good pollen mask ($20) when traveling between safe environments.

You may want to try Singulair. It's different from other allergy meds. Or, if your sypmtoms are primarily nasal allergies, you might want to try a nasal spray like Flonase or Nasacort. They won't make you drowsy. If you also have the red, itchy eyes, you might want to try Patanol eye drops. All of the above mentioned drugs are prescription only.

You really should see an allergist. I take my allergy meds at night which helps me to fall asleep and it doesnt make me as sleepy as much during the day.

Allergy shots do help, but you may need something more like nasal spray and allergy pills.

You need to move to arizona or new mexico.
Many of my relatives with envirnmental illnesses
have moved there to get away from such things and
they are much better.
