I have been contiplating tracking down my first love, He has been the first thing and the last thing I think about each day. When we broke up, I was a stupid nieve kid, and I have been regreting it everyday for the last 13 years. I can't take it anymore. I love him and I need him to know it, even if he doesn't take me back. So my question is....would u go for it, or let sleeping dogs lay?

13 years ago, he has probably moved on...If you just wanna say hi, or see how things are with him and his life, you can give it a go...I wouldn't even consider a relationship...

13 years is a long time. Lots of things have happened and people change. You could approach him, but be ready for a letdown. He is probably married by now with a couple of cute kids and a wonderful wife. If he is, talk over old times, give him a hug, wish him well and walk away. Don't ruin his family just so you can be happy.

Good luck.

Not to bum you out, but this is the ultimate fantasy. Sadly, 13 years is a long time and you no longer know this person. In your mind you have idealized him and your romantic feelings towards him. If you do decide to track him down, be prepared for all scenarios. He may be married with children, engaged or living a lifestyle that you despise. Time changes all things. It doesn't stand still.

It can definately work depending on the situation. I actually was thinking like that about my first love. But I never tried to go and find him. My aunt just so happen to see him out one day, and he gave her his number for me to call him. I called.... He was feeling the same way about me all of these years. Our wedding is 06/30/07. What's meant to be will be.

its been 13 years i think you should let him go. he probably has a wife/girlfriend and maybe a kid. don't waste your time on something that was 13 years ago. you being stuck on him is making you miss out on a guy that might be just for you. i mean i wouldn't mind seeing my first love but i wouldn't dwell on her for 13 years and i wouldn't be thinking about her everyday. in life sometimes you just have to let go in order to move on and i see you haven't.

he might be happily married.... u might want to find out about his life first b4 bumping into it and messing it up, or making it better, depending on how his life is. if hes married, stay away, if hes single then go ahead...
