Anything? Oh, wow. Interesting, eh? All right, I've always been a sucker for a challenge...

Not long ago, some of my old Army buddies and I had a little get-together down in good old Georgia and South Carolina. One of my buddies has a daughter who's 10 years younger than I am, and she gave me the bedroom eyes the whole time this little reunion was going on. I tried to ignore her, or at least pretend she wasn't trying to overtly hit on me because I figured her dad, one of my best friends, would go ape**** if I even THOUGHT about taking her up on any offers.

Well, she and the other gals went off to do some shopping while the guys and I stayed on the hotel balcony and played poker. And get this: my friend, the father of this girl, says: "Damn it, aren't you even interested in her? She's been undressing you with her imagination since we picked you up at the airport!" And I say, "Well, it's kind of hard to notice, dude, but I thought that you and I'd get into a fight if I tried anything!" And everyone laughs at me while Chris says, "Dude, you're the only man I'd give my blessing to, even if it was for a one-night stand!" And we all broke up laughing.

Needless to say, the rest of that reunion was very pleasant, and I just got off the phone with Ashleigh about an hour ago. Apparently, she wants to come up and visit...

Hello! Something interesting eh... alright! I finally bought me a new stereo system (a Sony MHC EC50 with 3cd and 100 watts) and am listening to a brand new cd by Eden's Bridge called "New Celtic Worship". I really enjoy Celtic music, and the lady who sings on their cd's is named Sarah... and I'll say at times "Sing for me Sarah"! In a couple of months I'll be heading for a week's vacation in Washington DC for the first time.. and I know NO one up there. One of the big things I love is photography, and at times when I'm in a certain season I've found comfort from my images. It's wonderful. Lastly I'll say... After not ever having a cellphone I've got one coming... and I'm looking forward to having fun with it. Thanks for the opportunity to share some with you tonight. Peace!

If theres one piece of advice I could give you its this: if you truely want something fight for it, no matter how hopeless it seems and when you've lost hope ask yourself in ten years from now your going to wish you gave it another try because the best things in life, they dont come free.

"Speak of the Devil" is short for "Speak of the Devil and he shall come". It was believed that if you spoke about the Devil it would attract his attention. That's why when you're talking about someone and they show up people say "Speak of the Devil."
