If you're having chest pains, and there is no obvious reason for it (like spraining the muscles with heavy lifting or some other injury), then you should go right to the ER. If you're having any nausea, sweating or shortness of breath, call 911.

I'm wondering if you've been doing very heavy work, like landscaping or lifting or something else that would have strained your neck, arm and chest muscles. If not, you should take a couple aspirin, if you have them and either call 911 or get someone to take you to the ER now.

First, could it be indigestion?? You know, eating standing up whilst doing other things, too quickly??? Is it sharp pains cutting across the far left or right of your chest?? This could just be the result of vitamin B deficiency. Meantime, YES, go to ER and ask wot I just told you.

PEACE & GOOD HEALTH TO YOU

**** EDIT ****

Have you got any milk/soy milk?? Go drink 2 - 3 glasses FULL and see if the pain disappears, if it does you are Vitamin B complex (the group of B vitamins) deficient.

I would. It is better to be safe than sorry. It could just be the onset of a cold, but it could be something more serious. If I were you I would go. I hope its nothing and you feel better soon.
