I'd say cut off all contact with him, don't answer his calls, texts, or emails..and above all...never contact him. Why be friends with someone who didn't treat you well? That's not healthy.

Probably the best thing to do right now is completely cut off contact for awhile. He needs a clean break to get over you. After sometime apart you will have a chance at having a real friendship.

You have to stop contacting him and try and stay away for as long as you can. I have been through the same thing and I found it helped that my brother and his girlfriend looked after me and kept me company in the aftermath. Whatever you do DONT be tempted to get back with him. Lonliness and can do that to a person. Surround yourself with friends and family and TALK about your feelings. Believe me things will get better even when they sometimes feel like they wont.

How can you and him be "friends" after "all the wrong" he did you? Thats why he's not letting go -----> you're not letting go either. If you really want him to leave YOU alone, you have to leave HIM alone period. Don't talk to him or see him at all. In time - both of you will move on.

you can't be "friends" with someone you got out of a relationship with.. if the relationship was so bad i don't think you and him would be "friends." your giving him mixed messages cause your continuing to talk to him.. you've just gotta pull some cards to show him that it is really over.

Tell him that you don't love him anymore but can stay friends. If you have to try to inore him. Go hang out with your other firneds. Keep yourself busy. Heal and learn from this and find another guy. Go out there and see whats out there. When he see's you happy with another guy. He'll get the picture

I know you think it's a problem, but do you know how lucky you are to have someone want to be with you? Be alone for awhile and you might start to remember that.

Lay it out straight for him. Tell him that his friendship means a lot to you but your just not romantically attracted to him anymore, and that you're not going to change your mind about it.
