Be patient, girl. It's a big, wide world we live in, so you're going to find the person you'll really like at some point. But if you're worried about being unwanted, keep in mind that as long as you're happy with yourself, you shouldn't have any worries. And about being left behind: the best way to avoid that is to go beyond the others. After that, everything else will fall into place.

I'm 18, but for most of high school, I was too tall, awkward and never went on a date. I was so sure that I was way to ugly to even have a guy like me. I know that life really sucks now, but I am in college and have already been asked out by a cute guy in one of my classes. Please, please hang in there, I promise, once you are out of high school and in the (more) real world guys will realize what a wonderful person you are.
If you still feel this depressed you should talk to someone, a friend, a parent or even a counselor.

This is what people call "Angst" -- It is part of growing up. It is soooo normal to feel like you do. Honey, enjoy being l4. And I promise you that when you are older your feelings will change. and before you know it life will be soooo different. You are not unwanted. Your family totally loves you - you are just in the middle of puberty. You will live through it. Good luck -k-

There's way too much pressure on this sort of thing. We're all afraid that we have to get the perfect guy now, or it'll be too late. Guys are immature at 14, and aren't thinking about love. I'm 17, almost 18, and guys don't even LOOK at me.

At your age, boys are still very insecure. Give them some time. In the meantime, just arrange to do things in groups with boys and girls both. That will be both fun and help you learn how to relate to boys.
And, please, when the boys do start coming around, don't just say yes to the first one. The pushy ones aren't the ones you want. Look for that sweet guy who's just a little initimidated by you.

How do you think the supermodels felt when they were your age? They were very tall and different from everyone else. Most didn't date until they were adults. You are going to be a swan like Nicole Kidman.

It sounds like you are wanted but you are an alpha. Because of this you find it easy to hook up but not to get into relationships. If you want more of a chance at relationships you need to try to go for betas and show more beta behavior yourself.
