My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship and usually talk every night (mostly on yim due to long distance charges etc..) but last wednesday he emailed me from his local library to tell me his computer got broken and it would be fixed soon. Also that he would try his best to get to the library to talk to me every day (he cant drive yet so he has to walk)... I havent heard from him since. Im sooo worried something happened or hes not coming back. What should I do?
(If anyone really thinks they can help me figure this out I can post the last emails he sent... he didnt seem like he plannned on this... but i just dont know)

Hes only 17, doesnt have a cell and I only have his old number, I was stupid and never got the new one after his mother changed it. He has my cell but Im not sure if he ever copied it onto paper from his computer... thank you all for responding.

I know he hasnt been on the computer... ive checked all the sites he goes to and have checked to see if hes online under other names and he never is

He cant drive because he cant afford the drivers ed tests hed need to get his license right now

relax, and give him the benefit of the doubt. if he wanted to break off the relationship, it would have been easy to just say so.
keep very busy and wait a bit to see what develops. don't get clingy or start obsessing on soap opera situations.
meanwhile, think about whether or not this is a good situation for you. is he worth the effort to maintain the relationship? are you really able to trust him? (doesn't seem like it just now) why can't he drive-is this a red flag? drinking problem? addiction? underage?
don't let your insecurities spoil anything, but realize that you-not he- are ultimately the one to decide who you want to be in a relationship with. don't give away your power, girl! :)

Oh hun..What I want to tell you is that he is just not able to get ahold of you right now, but soon everything will be up and running and back to normal - But I think its something more serious .. I dont know if you've ever read the book "He's Just Not That Into You" - Well.. pretty much what book says is that NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES he would get ahold of you if he cares about you and loves you as much as you think he does. I dont care how much long distance calls are - he would do anything to call you if he honestly cared. Im sorry to tell you all of this, and I hope that I am completely wrong .. but Im just giving you my honest opinion - Good luck and take care. I want you to know that if things dont work out, I am sure that it all happened for a reason.. long distance relationships are the hardest (ive been there) and I think you deserve someone local, someone whom you can get to know and fall in love with.... eye to eye and.. local.

Umm I'm in a long distance relationship and talk with my boy friend almost every night too. If this happens to me I would be so worried too and I guess He will send you an email soon Or If you know his phone number you should definitely call him. You should ask him for that. And hopefully he will be back. If he would plan on that he wouldn't go to library to talk to you every day... Don't panic and try to find a way to call him or a friend of him...

I take it from your question that you cannot reach him by cellphone or regular phone. Does he have a cell phone? Most people do. If you are that worried about his well being, call him at least to see if everything is okay. When you do speak with him (assuming he is fine) I would express my feelings about his disappearing act. I would let him know that to make a promise and not keep it is unacceptable. To stay out of contact for one week after promising to stay in touch is immature and could lead you to believe that he is being shady.

Look, if he wanted to contact you, he would. He'd call, borrow a cell phone, buy a phone card, get to the library to e-mail, etc.
I'd say this is his way of dumping you. He sounds like a real weasel.
If you're afraid something bad happened, contact a mutual friend, his job or send him an e-mail saying you're very worried and to please let you know he's ok.

Personally I think you are more worried about yourself then about him. I am sure he fine, just busy. May I suggest you get busy yourself and stop hanging around waiting for his contact. Go out and have some fun so you have something to talk about when you contact each other. Guys really hate clingy dependent women.

I am sure he's being honest and just can't get to the library. Although, it's lame he hasn't sucked it up and called since last week. Can't you call him? Good luck and let us know what happens!!!

don't you just love those fairy tail Internet loves.. what has happened to you is what happens to many people who don't get the hint that their Internet bf/gf has found another fish swimming in the vast sea called the Internet...and of course it doesn't seem as if he planned it that's the glory of doing it... i have seen people pretend they died to get out of an Internet relationship.... good luck i hope I'm wrong
