why do girls allways say they dont care about looks when they do, if they dont care about look what about the 370 pound overweight man who cant get a girl what about him, and no i am not 370 pounds face it girls are just as shallow as guys are if not even more

Here's an interesting fact for you. In a child psychology experiment analyzing who infants are most likely to TRUST...they made the infant be carried by a male then a female. He cried way less when carried by the female. THEN they had the infant carried by an attractive female and then an overweight, rather unattractive female. The infant cried less when carried by the attractive female.

Why is this? Would you say that INFANTS are shallow?

No, there is an evolutionary viewpoint to this...some people BELIEVE that infants cry less when carried by the attractive female because she is healthier and thus she is better able to provide for the infant. An overweight woman is not likely to survive for a long time and infants are programmed to be attracted to the more attractive, thus "healthier" female, who ALSO has a better chance of surviving and not being killed...

So I don't think this has much to do with "shallowness" but it's more of HUMAN NATURE to pick the more attractive of the opposite sex.

Your right. Girls do care about looks. But they don't put as much emphasis on it as guys do. A woman also can be attracted by how a man makes her feel when she is around him and other stuff like confidence. A man puts "looks" alot higher up on the list of things he finds attractive in someone than women do. Thats why a man will still go out with a woman if she has a block of wood for a brain but is super hot, but a woman will lose interest in a guy if he is really good-looking but a boring dooshbag.
To further make this point, this is also why you may occasionally see a beautiful woman with a homely guy, but you hardly ever see a real nice-looking guy with a homely girl. Girls also put "status" higher up on the list. Look at all the gruesome-looking famous dudes that have beautiful girlfriends and wives. These women fall for these guys not because of their looks, but despite their looks, because they have high social status.

That's true. I think part of the reason they don't want to admit this is because caring about looks means you're shallow. Men are supposed to be the dogs that only go after slutty girls, so they want to appear better than that. Or maybe it has a reason to do with them being insecure about their own looks. I hate admitting that I do somewhat care about looks, because guys have never taken an interest in me. I'm short, flat-chested, and have acne. When I say I care about the way a guy looks, I feel selfish because I'm not that much of a looker, either.

I have to say that you're right, a lot of girls are shallow, just as much as guys. There is always something that attracts, whether it is looks, money, or reputation. Same goes for either gender, To be honest, my husband's reputation and the fact that he was known to be a bad a** where we lived was what attracted me to him, originally. But at the same time, my looks were an attraction to him. We were both shallow, and we've made it together nearly 9 years, so far.

If a guy is magnificent, respectful, chivalrous, humorous, and mature it shouldn't count number number what age he's. In intense college it sucks because an outstanding form of fellows nonetheless seem as if young children at 14. in case you won't be able to win the lady over now because of your age or youthful seems, only wait till you advance into your pores and skin slightly extra valuable. by technique of the time you're on your early 20's age wont count number number a lot. it can sound cliche yet only be your self. i understand it truly is not ordinary to do in intense college, yet once you get slightly older that's considered necessary advice.

Slow down there horse. You don't really understand about us girls. A girls eye for beauty is different from another girl. So, there is probably a girl that has an eye for big men. You see there is this guy that I think is hot, but everyone else he is not really that hot. This is an example of how one girls eye is different from another. Yes I care about looks, I admit it. It is necessary to have that intense excitement.
But I also fell deeply in love with man who I was not attracted to AT ALL when I first met him. (Over time, as I got to know him, he seemed to get cuter and cuter and cuter.)
I am being 100% honest. For intense sexual passion, the guy should be HOT. But its not necessary for love in general.

I know a really fat guy, a friend of mine actually, that gets a lot of girls. He has beautiful eyes, very fun, sociable personality, a great job, and the biggest heart. I greatly enjoy his company and can see how he gets alot of women despite his obesity! I am totally serious. All his many great points outweight the one bad one of fat. But this really is unusual. so its unusual but not impossible.

I will admit I like a guy who is good looking. But I will never pick a guy just because he is good looking, okay? I will also admit I was really shallow at one point in my life. But I realized how dumb it was, and now I have guy who isn't a swimsuit model, but he is honest, nice, etc...so don't go one like that, cause not all girls are shallow
