I (unfortunately) have never been to Great Britian, but hope to one day. :)
The British food I've had in the US is bangers and mash, shepherd's pie, fish and chips--I think that's it. I LOVE British food! Some people say it's bland, but I don't think so. What's bland about a fat, greasy sausage and a pile of buttery mashed potatoes? Those people are crazy for saying such things!

Americans who Loudly voice their opinions, is not all Americans. Although I have never been to Britain, I would never say any food was bad, unless I actualy found it to be so. I am sure , as you say, that there are many delectable foods there. Just as there are Many decent. and fair, and open minded Americans.

well, I am not American, I am Canadian, I have heard a lot about how in old fashioned english home cooked recipes it was traditional to boil your foods including your meats. This is not so common now, but it is condiderably different now. I just think it is shocking that you have to go to a "Canada shop" to buy Kraft dinner!
