I live in California but over here you have to go to the main office of the school district that you live in. After they check the progress of your home schooling situation they decide whether or not you are mature and responsible enough for a work permit.

You can go to the job you wish to apply for, take a copy of your hs affidavit or paperwork and see what they require. Most jobs will have the proper channels to guide you to or will help you out.
