I am so sorry about your grandpa, It is hard to see a loved one so close to death. Many people are afraid of what comes after death because they don't know if they will just cease to exist or if there is everlasting life for the soul. If your grandpa was a religious person, you can be sure that he will be better off. He has lived a good long life and if he knows he is dying then he is at peace and may now be ready to face whatever is out there. You may not be ready to see him go, but if you say your goodbyes and he knows how much you love him, you can feel easier about it. Just stay by his side as much as you can and show him just how you feel. My prayers are with you and your family.

You poor wee one. I just recently had a death in the family. It is sad, but I believe in the after life. I was scared of death and dying as a young girl, then I came across a book called, " We Don't Die", by John Edward, and after that, I was never scared again. When we grieve for a long time, it upsets the person who has passed, cause they know they are in a better place, but can't move on, because they are sad for us just being sad. Try to get that book, and others by John Edward, it will make a world of difference for you honey.

Everyone is going to die eventually. Why be afraid of something that you cant avoid. ?

No-one knows if there is anything after death but if there is something why would it be bad, and if there isnt anything then at least he is not sick, or in pain .

If you are seeing your grandpa then just let him know how you feel about him , and help him to not be afraid.

I know it is hard to lose a loved one, I lost my grandma and it devestated me. But she is not in pain anymore. So, your grandpa will probably be better off.
