I got a car in my name for someone close to me. She has not made a payment for March and April's payment is almost due. I am unable to find her. She won't answer her phone or her door. I believe she is hiding from me. How do I go about getting this car back before she completely ruins my credit?

Whos name is the title and reg in? If its in your name in many states you can send a certified letter demanding the car. If she does not respond you can then go to the police. The police will then issue a warrant for Each state is different. If the car is in her name there is not too much you can do. You can call your local PD and or bring them the papers you have and they can better advise you and they don't charge you anything. Just be prepared to press charges. If the car is registered and titled in your name, it is legally your car, and you can just go get it. You could call a repo man, if you prefer someone else to take it. If you have keys, use them, take her belongings out of the car, where the car sits, and drive away. If she wants to report the car stolen, she will have to prove an agreement was made, regarding possession of the car.
