I sold my gay, green Neon for $1500.00 and I am in the market for another truck. I burned my other truck after I blew up my transmission driving backwards on a dirt track. (see my blogs for the sad, sad stories of my truck, my trip to Daytona and how it all ended..) I have found a 1971 Mack 18 wheeler for sale for only $2500.00. It is rough, one window doesn't work, the interior is shot and the paint is flat red and the tires are bald but it does run even though it smokes like heck. I don't have a C license but I would only drive it around and not haul anything. Is this legal? I think it would be so cool to bolt a pick-up bed to the rear frame and tool around town. I would be the biggest redneck alive then! It would drive my neighbor insane. He hates my guts anyway and tried to have me kicked out of the trailer park this week. I think it would look very cool parked in front of my house every night. Any comments?

Hey, chicks love me! I am a sex machine and driving a big, big truck will have them crawling all over me. Besides, all those Humvees will damn well get out of my way when I come blasting down the highway. I am presently living the good life since I settled with the city of Tampa so all I have to do is drink, smoke, fish, eat and party anyway. A big azzed truck would just be the icing on the dang cake, eh?

dude, that is hilarious. i would love to see that driving down the road. its a good idea, but thats about as far as you should go with it. because you know what else is going to attracted to you besides women? COPS. just leave it alone and have fun telling the story of what you *almost* did. your still a redneck for having such a stupid idea. go buy a new shotgun instead.

Turn that heap into a pick-up truck and you will look like a goof. Chicks will gladly ride in it (once) so they can tell their friends they rode in the biggest dork-truck in the state. It is going to require several thousand dollars worth of repair work. You will need special inspections and assignment of vechicle grouping because it does not fit any class for registration or insurance. You will need a professional driver course and an air brake endorsement to drive it, not to mention a huge wallet to pay the fuel bills. Chances are it will require annual inspections to be allowed on the road, I know you would in Manitoba, any truck 1 ton and larger does. And dollars to doughnuts your neighbour won't have to do anything to get you evicted. such a vehicle is probably larger than anything permitted under your lot lease.

Sounds .ok. for 2500.00 even though its a very old model truck with problems. It is not legal to drive unless u have a class A license.

Why don't you use the money to buy Powerball Lottery tickets..You'd probably have a good chance to win..and you won't ever have to even think about your neighbor. You could then just lie around drinking Margaritas and hang with the models. Either way you are out $1500 or the full price but my way you at least have the opportunity to score big time.

You would need to have the vehicle inspected before driving it anywhere, and you will need an airbrakes license.
Personally, I think you can do better than this and don't waste your time and money on trying to annoy someone. Do things to please yourself. The '71 Mack is NOT a chick magnet!
