Actually, I was called 'fruitcake' by another answerer on this forumn. It's the typical response I get from my family, so I just adopted it.

SOME times the more we know the more we look a little odd. ANd the more you know the more we form opinions. LIKE save the whales. OR save the white owls.

Actually I think your moniker 'fruitcake' says alot about you.....deep down you probably like the attention you are getting from people who "think you are nuts".

"Nuts" is a relative term. What do they consider "nutty"? I mean, I had friends who thought that "being crazy' was riding in the car with the window down! Let's face it, there is really no such thing as "normal". It is a very subjective term............

Most insane people think they are sane. Ask your parents ... the rest of your family, they'll tell you they are sane as well.

Perhaps by "nuts" you mean that they don't agree with you. Perhaps they have differing viewpoints.

Then again, you gave us little to work with to understand your situation.

Sounds pretty normal to me....my grandmother talked to herself, my cousin had over 200 empty milk jugs, in case there was a shortage, I seem to buy stuff that I don't really need. Define your problem. They seem to have the problem.
Live, laugh, love and be happy. best wishes x

Join the club................

We are all nuts.
Come on, with a alias with "fruitcake" in it you'll fit right in.

If you say you are nuts your honest.
If you say you are sane, not only are you nuts, but you are a liar.

you never know, maybe you are the insane one. Its all based on perception. You percieve things one way and they see it another. Unless you both see it the same way you will never agree or see wachother as equal.

Look at it as an opportunity for great stories to tell your friends! My daughter is a writer and she credits our family insanity for her success. :-)

If you think you're sane, then you're truly insane. But if you think you're insane, then you're truly sane because you have to be sane to see how insane you really are.

Besides, everybody's insane.
