I have a question for you.
Who is being judgemental by asking this question?
I am a Christian and find some answers insulting, irritating and offensive. And those are from Christians as well as non-believers. I have probably come across that way a time or two also. If a question is upsetting to you, don't get angry to the point that you make a fool out of the Lord claiming to be one of His children. Either do not answer or pray for wisdom in answering those types of questions. The choice is up to you and you alone.

I would like to RESPECTIVELY give my opinion on this....I agree that there are people that when spiritual questions are posed, many give flippant and angry answers. I have seen some of the questions from Christians on this site, and when I say Christians I mean Christians that come off as fanatical and zealous. Myself, I am a Christian(Roman Catholic) trying to find my way...I have not come to the point where I actively share my faith with others. Some may say I am not a Christian because I do not do this, but I am trying to work out my own issues. I believe that if you are a Christian, you should "Spread the word" but some people are not ready or open to hearing that message.. They get turned off by the zealousness and fanatism. I guess the point is that you want to reach people.. Sometimes beating people over the head does not reach them...they get resentful. The best way to reach people is to be open to their cues...look for opportunities to spread the word, but if someone is not ready for it, you have to back off. Understand, we have all come from different backgrounds and when there are people that shove it in your face, you get defensive. But look for the opportunities to share. When people go through hard times, and this has what has helped me...I have had friends(born again Christians) that have helped me see things from a different perspective, but they know when to back off.

LOL When I am told I am going to hell because I don't believe in Jesus, or Allah then I am being judged.
I wish all religious people kept religion to themselves. The fact is, religion has played a direct role in so much history and present day, that it is impossible to ignore. I do judge, Hitler, the Crusades, Religious hypocrisy, and peoples reliance on conjecture. I don't think I am being cruel. I am being confrontational. (as opposed to avoidance)
SEX RELIGION POLITICS. These have been social taboos for too long. Reluctance to discuss these emotional topics lead to them being largely ignored. Now these three topics are what is tearing this country apart.
Lets stop ignoring these important issues and address them.
And that is exactly what we are doing now. Addressing them.

Many are very bitter for various reasons and need a punching bag...and since we are the middle man......I will not gossip by naming anyone...however there are a few that really have some serious personal issues that need to be dealt with.
Some are angry, but really are seeking truth..and desperately want to be convinced...we are the key..we had better know what we believe and why we believe it.
Peter said: To "Be ready to give to every one who asks of you,an answer, a reason for the hope that lies within you"(I think I remembered accurately)..

to tell you the truth, its mostly because of non-moderate Christians. they decide to hate on us (I am athiest) because they cant accept our veiws. they can only look within thier very puny sphere of thought that revolves around them and thier veiwpoint of "god", they dont realize that there are other people out there that are just as devout to their religion/beliefs as them. also they look at a "athiest/non-christian" and they think, "you dont believe in what I believe, so you are an inferior being" so we "non-christians" are flamed on, hated on, ridiculed, and insulted, just because of what we think is right. we eventually get sick of the ignorant fools and thier childish thoughts, so we start to try to reason with them (the moderate ones do, the non-moderates just start hating on christians), to no avail. so eventually we get very angry with the childish way they ridicule us...
So please, tell the non-moderate christians you know, and unaccepting christians, to stop this crap, just because we dont have the same veiwpoint as them does not mean we are inferior, and if you think that we are inferior, then why the hell do you think you are christian? didnt "god" make all humans equal? they are fools and hypocrites...
Of course, there are plenty of accepting christians and people of other religions and beliefs, the ones that fail to accept others, are the main problem...

christians are cruel and judgemental too, more so than we are because we have to defend ourselves against there yelling that we are going to hell. Don't call people out when you are the one that should really be listening.

Many people I know are on the defensive from being verbally attacked and being told they're going to hell. I try to be polite on here, but even I get mean and uncalled-for email.
Honestly--some of the others who are really mean are just being jerks. There are mean people in every single "group."

there are many workers needed but not enough labors in christ. The lord says in the last days men shall be lovers of themselves. Which means there heart is not right with god so they will not want to know or hear the truth of God.

Generally we are shunned, spit on, called satanists, abused, beaten up, put out in spite, neglected, because of not being Christian. In turn, some are bitter. Question is, why are Christians not so accepting?
