My favourite breed of dog is the Maltese. Why because the have a beautiful nature and have beautiful features.

Chihuahua because they are small, intelligent, and have long life spans.They have a beautiful coat.Chihuahuas are totally devoted to their owners and suspicious of strangers.They are good lap dogs.

Shelter mutts
They seem more loving and more "grateful". They know just how bad life can get.
Also, there is everything anyone could want. Name a dog breed, go to the shelter and chances are you can find one. At least a mix of that dog.
They're also temperment tested, they are inexpensive and come with lots of "extras"
Maltese are beautiful dogs. I had a mix when I was little. So sweet!

My favorite breed is the American Pit Bull Terrier. I love them because they are medium/large sized short coated dogs who generally have a medium energy level. They have the energy to take long walks and play hard, but they will relax and sit on the couch with you to watch a movie. And when trained and socialized from a young age, just as any breed, they are very friendly and sweet to everyone. My pit bull loves other dogs, kids, and cats.

My favorite is a Bulldog. Even though they have a high price tag, can have high vet costs and are high maintenance, they are well worth every penny spent on them and all the time it takes to properly care for them. They have the best personalities, are just the sweetest dogs and they are so stinking cute. I have 5 dogs who I love very much but my 2 Bulldogs are like my babies. I will never again be without a Bulldog in my house.

I love a lab. But I am partial to Beagles and Jack Russells. Hopefully everyone will choose a breed that works with their own life style not just on beauty. :-) A lab works better for me right now than a Jack. So I have a lab and someday will have a Jack.

For me there is no better breed than the German Shepherd Dog. As far as I am concerned there is no other breed. I love their problem solving capabilities not only that but when they learn something you better make it interesting and change up or they decide why bother. I love independent dogs!!

Australian Shepherd.....winner hands down!
I've had a mix, a German Shepherd, the Aussie, and now a Husky. The Husky is the prettiest.......but there isn't a dog more attuned to its owner than an aussie. That dog knew my routine around the house better than I did and seemed to read my mind.
Great friends.....as well as pets.

Have a lot of favourites but I love the Komondor, Afghan Hound, Saluki, Neapolitan etc
They are simply gorgeous and interesting!!

I am fond of several breeds.
My first favorite are pit-bulls, because of their high energy, their features, how much they like to please their owners for that juicy treat, and their utmost loyalty in the most friendly of ways.
My second favorite are German Shephereds, because they are great guard dogs, great companions, and because they calm and obedient.
My third favorite are Doberman Pinschers, because of their exceedingly devoted heart, they never cease to let you down and are beautiful in every way.

I love any dog, all breeds, "mutts" included. Right now I have 2 Rottweilers, and I better say they're my favorite- they are reading this right now and sort of giving me "the look".
Yep, Rottweilers are MY favorite breed.
