I have a Honda Accord (97 I think - not sure) and my CD player is currently a 12 disc changer. The problem is that it's basically broken and all 12 of my CDs in there are stuck, and the fact that the box where you insert the discs is in the trunk makes it much more of a huge pain.

Anyway, how much would it cost to at least get the CDs out of that box and get, at the very least, a normal cd player in the front of the car? And where do I get it done at? I would love for them to take out the whole 12-disc changer, but if it's gonna cost more, I'd rather them leave it there and just install the new one. I'm not sure how these things work so please be understanding. I have almost no knowledge about cars.

So basically that's just what I want to do, get a CD player that actually works for my car, and get my CDs out of that broken CD changer in the trunk, and if it's not gonna cost anything, I'd like it removed, but if it is, I'd rather leave it there broken.

you can remove the cd changer only 4 screws on the side
and take it apart to get your disc the ones that get stock the most are pioneer or clarion alpines are better if you buy the same unit you can just plug the new one and use the same radio

to install a radio in your vehicle we charge

$70.00

someday you will notice that nothing is fre en this life
what they do do is put another 50 points on the radio and charge for all the kits and cables
beside there is no way i will let a 18 year kit work on my car

2 possibilities. First look around the place the CD goes in for a small hole. If you find one, straighten out a paper clip and insert it in the hole until it stops, then give a gentle push. This is the manual release. If you don't find that hole, insert a business card half way in the slot and press "eject". Now pull gently on the card. If neither works, take it in and have the repair shop look at it. Second part of your question about cost to replace: Go online to Bestbuy.com and you will find and almost infinite list of different audio options for your honda..Good luck and I hope this helps!

remove the screws like the guy said. but 70 dollars man are you crazy go to best buy buy a good CD player and they will install it ( i think for free) but you will have to pay for the wire harness kit and dash kit if not already have and any other wire they use. it is alot cheaper than $70
