last night i went out with this girl. we went for a nice meal and some cocktails. after a couple of martini she got a little drunk. and she insisted on going to see my flat. well, i am not an idiot and i know what that means. but i genuinely liked the girl and didn't want to take advantage of her while she's drunk. so we end up just sat down and talked until 6am. then i called her a cab home. i wonder if i did the right thing? i mean, would that make her think i am not interested in her? please i need some girls opinion on this. thanks!
ps: she is leaving the country next week. i understand this whole thing is a bit... unrealistic.

Yes, you absolutely did the right thing! I would be flattered to be with a guy that respects me and cares for me that much to not take advantage of me especially when i am leaving and would never see him again. Thats awesome. Just keep doin what your doin and you will find someone really great!

Just because she was drunk DOES NOT mean she wanted to boink you. She may have, but you don't know for sure, and taking advantage of a drunk person for anything is just wrong.
Guy to guy, if she were staying here, you did the right thing. But, since she's leaving the country maybe she just wants to get laid before she goes?

Hi, it makes a refreshing change to hear about a guy (I know that not all guys are monsters) that actually respects a female.
You certainly did do exactly the right thing because, she would have really hated you and you would have had a major guilt trip. Be proud of yourself and hold your head up high.
Is she leaving the country permanantly?

You did the right thing. Having sex with a girl who is drunk is not the right thing to do. Contact her and arrange another date and hopefully she will remain sober enough to go see your flat.
