My son was diagnosed with stage IV abdominal sarcoma and he was asymptomatic. He never felt anything. There were some unusual signs now when we think back about it. He had tested positive for hypothyroidism . . which seemed odd for a teenage boy. He had also gained weight in the belly area, but looked thin in the shoulders . . but we attributed that to training for basketball during practices. He did report feeling a hard lump around his mid section that we could not figure out either. When he was finally diagnosed we found out he had fluid in the belly (called ascitis) and multiple large tumors throughout the abdominal cavity.
It's been two years. He's had three major surgeries, chemotherapy, and is preparing for a stem cell rescue in a few weeks.
Other than when the tumors were large . . he can't feel them. Of course, should tumors grow into an organ or invade tissue or obstruct vital organs than they become noticiable and painful. He's been fortunate. It's a rotten disease.

I had some drama so that is the cause of it. I in most cases don't ever feel down only for no intent. I'm getting over it though and feeling much better at present and considering more positive. Song and prayer are my remedy to get me by means of. It also helps if in case you have some just right acquaintances to speak to, and get out of the condominium. I notice after I stay in more I end up more moody. Consuming foods you love, and laughing also unlock stress. Or just deal with yourself to a sizzling bathtub bathe thats very enjoyable also writing.. I can go on and on. However when it's coronary heart ruin the one therapy I've observed is time. I had certainly not felt for someone like I did with my ex. Everybody else I either conveniently stopped caring 2 days later or at most a week later.

It really depends on the kind of cancer. My uncle passed from lung cancer many years ago and his symptoms were heavy coughing, shooting chest pains. I have had no pain from my cervical cancer, though I have had other symptoms. Cancer can begin in many many forms, some are asymptomatic (as was mentioned in a previous post) and some aren't. As was mentioned in another post, I also feel zapped of energy quite often (I recently discovered I've relapsed, and don't begin treatment for another few months), but everyone is different. Same as everyone generally reacts differently to the same strain of flu; some can't get out of bed or move much while some go on to work (to spread it to others nonetheless). Everyone's body is different and every cancer is different.

Cancer has significantly lowered my energy, but besides that, I cannot feel it. However, that is not the case with everyone. People with tumors often feel intense pain where the tumor is, i.e. brain tumors often give people excruciating headaches. Mine is in my blood and bone marrow, so fortunately I do not experience pain.
What is painful though are the treatments. Chemotherapy, radiation, stem cell transplants, etc. have been emotionally and physically agonizing. Throwing up on the floor because you have no energy to make it to the bathroom while having burned skin and an addiction to your morphine patch is no fun..especially when you're 21 : (

Depends on the cancer. I had leukemia and I had a little pain in my bones but mostly I was just exhausted and run down.

my grandpa died of cancer but he said that it felt like something was biting him at all times. He said that it was a dull pain. He would never say these things but he would tell them to my grandma who would later tell us.
