Do people actually have nosebleeds when thinking dirty thoughts? Or is that a common myth... if it is true, why?

It's only a myth, dear. The only way you get a nosebleed while thinking dirty thoughts is perhaps if you start saying what you're thinking aloud and someone gets offended and hits you in the nose. :D

No, this isn't true. Those hankies they hand out at the peep show are for a different purpose.
It is true that strong arousal increases blood pressure slightly, but so do many other things; if the difference were enough to trigger nose bleeds, a lot of people would be bleeding every day.

For some reason I see that a lot in Japanese Comics and Anime Books. I think it's a myth. Nothing in your mind could cause your nose to bleed.

No, it's not true. And if you don't believe the millions of people here who tell you, go into your lavatory and think really dirty thoughts while looking in the mirror. Just as an experiment.

Its not true!!! If it was true alot of men and yes some women would be walking around with Tissue stuck up there nose all the time. And if you looked at me, I would probably have one stuck to mine..

it's not true. Haven't had a nose bleed (not counting somebody punching the daylights out of me) since I was a kid.

Hah, you must watch anime and read a lot of manga. I used to wonder that myself when I was younger.
Nah, I've never seen it happen, never heard of it actually happen, and probably never will.

ha ha thats most def not true, then my nose would be bleeding all day even in my sleep
