Yes I believe that heaven is real.

Ultimately, we will all be judged (at the Judgment) and our eternal destiny will be Heaven (the positive afterlife), or the negative after life (if we knowingly rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ).

For a brief explanation of the gospel (of salvation through Jesus Christ), see http://www.godsci.org/gs/new/essence.html

I have had a personal experience with the Christian God, to the point where I have grown to trust, love and appreciate Him. Based on this experience, for me to spend time with the Christian God is a Joy.
In heaven, I believe I will experience this Joy to a greater and deeper extent.

Furthermore, the Christian God has created incredible beauty in our universe. This same God promises that heaven is even more beautiful than the most incredible beauty we see on earth.
The presence of incredible beauty, is my second reason for interest in heaven.

There will be no pain or suffering or tears in heaven. Rather there will be peace, love, joy. I would like to experience these in fullness.

Best,
Agate

John 3:16-21
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."
NIV
Phil 3:19-21
20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
NIV

2 Peter 3:12-13
13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
