It only strengthens my faith. :) Plus, are you mad to have to stand up for what you believe in. I am happy to stand tall of my faith, I'll do it for my God any day.

first of all, i do not imagine human beings might want to be bashing. by that I mean call calling and crude. notwithstanding, if what you mean is frustrating Christians of their faith, then i imagine many Christians ask for it. once you profess a perception in some thing yet won't be able to offer a rational reason with some style of empirical data and yet choose others to settle for and have self assurance it, you've opened the door to being challenged. And Christians are lots of the first human beings i have considered to initiate calling persons ignorant because they ask for some type of data except "because that's interior the bible." there is not any empirical data that the author's contained interior the Bible were some thing yet effortless human beings attempting to make sense of issues the excellent way they knew how 2000 years in the past. Why i'd presume that students of that era are more suitable enlightened or suggested that in the present day's is previous me. in case you opt to quietly practice your faith and it lets you be a more suitable powerful man or woman, then bless you and keep the religion. If that faith potential attempting to legislate each man or woman else's beliefs or habit, then i visit strive against you each step of ways.

As a follower of Jesus, I'm a little offended by this. I think it's incredibly pompous for you to compare people who are actually KILLED for believing in Jesus and teaching about what he did in countries that forbid Christian teachings, to being ridiculed on this forum by people you will never even MEET.
OH NO, people on this message board made you cry because they come up with smart-alecky questions and answers that go against the truth... are you offended because they're being "mean" to you or are you saddened by it because they don't understand the amazing grace that Christians have been given?
If anything, Christians should be thanking the "Christian bashers" NOT for "persecuting" us (yeah right), but because it shows us where our weaknesses are so we can go back to scripture and find out the truth about it. The word of God is basically the only ammunition we have to defend ourselves against untruths, and if we don't know the Bible, we're going to lose the war.

Sure, I've come on here and asked people to insult me or say something unkind about me, so I could practice my religion. Didn't get much of a response other than being called a 'fruitcake'. It's so hard to find persecution in the US. I would settle for some ridicule, I guess that's the best we can expect here.

I reserve the term "persecution" for those who have suffered profoundly for the sake of Christ. Believers have been denied jobs, had their children taken from them, been sent to forced labor camps, suffered unbelievable torture, and been martyred all because they refused to deny their Lord and Savior. *They* are truly the persecuted.
A few insults and taunts in places like this Forum may be annoying, but they're hardly in the same category as losing your freedom and your life for the cause of Christ.

But you are not being persecuted! If I hang out infront of your house, waiting until you walk out the front door, and start yelling horrible things at you and pelting you with rocks on a daily basis....then you can say you are being persecuted.
If you are going to insist that non-Christians are persecuting you....then you should be okay with the fact that the Christians are persecuting non-Christians.

Thank you for proving the asinine pat reasoning of the Bible.
Claim persecution when someone will inevitably challenge and ridicule the asinine claims that your religion makes, and then proceed to demonize that person, a priori even, simply for the fact that they don't accept what you say at face value.
People don't look too closely at logic anymore.

Are you kidding??? Those people are living in darkness; should we be THANKFUL that they're facing damnation? Should we see unsaved people as a way to get blessings for ourselves, rather than as lost souls in desperate need of Christ?

Hallelujah!! Praise Our Heavenly Father! For all things are possible through him! Yes, we should give praise and rejoice! Who knows we might have helped save a few souls!

It was indeed prophesied that there would be ridiculers. And contrary to what Zoe says, yes, Jesus loves - but not blindly. Otherwise there is no point in reaping what we sow.
