Greek/Roman = Hades and Heaven

Contrary to other pagan groups, the ancient Greeks believed that souls of the deceased were not reincarnated into another bodily form and placed back on earth, but lived on in either hell or heaven as a spirit. Their after life destination was presumably based on how well they lived their life prior to their death.

Christians were the first to introduce the concepts. The Greeks had the concept of hell. So did the ancient Germans, from whom comes the word Hel. However, the notion of heaven was introduced not by these, but by Christians.

Greeks believed in Hades. Ancient Egyptians believed in an afterlife so they were the first ones to belive in Heaven and Hell.

Jewish, Christian, and Muslim.
Most of the other ones either you reincarnate or go to a place of rest that is not dependent on your life's actions.
