I'd say Street Sense has the best shot at the Triple Crown. Will it happen? Probably not, as destiny hasn't been kind to the favorite lately.

I really like Curlin, he matured between his first outing and The Rebel. He handled everything new that was thrown at him ( 2 turns, larger crowd, added distance and a step up in class). He has an outstanding pedigree... Smart Strike with Deputy Minister as his Dam Sire.

I have been following Nobiz since last year, and was disappointed with his performance in the FoY. But taking into consideration how young he is I am definitely willing to give him a good long look when he next races.

I have also been eying Adore The Gold in his works here lately, I honestly think he's going to give Scat Daddy a run for his money in the Fl. Derby.

And can't leave Street Sense out of it, although I wonder how much the Tampa Bay Derby took out of him. On the other hand his work since that race have been top notch.

Alright, well right now there is still a long time to go, I mean who knows... there still might be another horse like Barbaro out there just waiting to be discovered! But in the mean time so far these are my Top 5 picks in order...

-Nobiz Like Shobiz
-Hard Spun
-Curlin (I'm starting to really look into him)
-Circular Quay
-Stormello

They might not be the best but at least my Top 3 are. We really need a Triple Crown winner. If we don't get one this year I'll cry! *
Barbaro we miss you! We all know you would have won the Triple Crown too! Your still in my thoughts.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

this weekends race (Fla derby) will give us a few horses to watch in a big derby prep, the Ark race and the race at Santa Anita earlier this month did not give us definitive contenders for the rose blanket as both winners were tackling two turns for the first time...the Louisiana race gave us two possible contenders as did Street Senses race (most realize that the juvenile champion the prior year has had no luck in the derby more than the last 20 years)...the next few weeks will bring the key prep races for the first weekend in May...good luck bettors!!! (and do be careful about using the keenland races for handicapping purposes, when they changed the surface last year there was a change to a definite closers bias in races at all distances on the polytrack...)

This is a good question, as the picture will start to become clearer in the weeks ahead. Right now, going into Saturday's Florida Derby at Gulfstream, I would say Scat Daddy & Notional.

Stormello, Notional, Scat Daddy will be running in the Florida Derby Saturday, it might be on ESPN but I'm not sure. Here's a link that will keep you up to date about the contenders and races leading up to the Kentucky Derby.
