Not sure how many, but some were:

"Do we not have the right to take along a Christian wife, as do the rest of the apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and Kephas?" (1 Cor 9:5)

Early writings of the Church suggest that all the apostles were married when chosen by Jesus except John. However, from the Bible we only know of the marriage of Peter (there is mention of his mother-in-law).

In the ancient hebrew writings there was not even a word for bachlor that is why it was so startleing for Jesus not to marry.
But being a spirit person and perfect would not have had Adams sin. If he would have married and had a child it would not ever die. We die because of Adamic sin.
His child would have lived forever as Adam was supose to.
But by giving that up he bought back for us what Adam lost.
It took a perfect man to do that. There were no perfect men since they all inherited sin from Adam.
