Well, my friend told me that if a guy is really shy around you and doesn't talk much then it means he probably likes you. If he's really talkative and confident around you, it means he probably just likes you as a friend. Is this true?
There's this guy at my school and I don't know if he likes me or not but I've had a crush on him for quite a while now. He's sort of quiet around me but with other girls and guys, he jokes around more. With me, he'll just ask me some questions and then sometimes we laugh together.
Does it mean anything if he picked on me? I got a lower grade point average than him this semester and he jokingly showed off. It made me smile but I'm not sure if it meant anything.

If someone is talkative or shy does not mean that they like or lust after you. Some people are naturally talkative and social, and others are shy. Inexperience may be a reason that a person would be shy ONLY around you if he does in fact like you. His joking behavior may show his interest or it may be innocent flirting. I would be less subtle around him. Make sure that you touch his hand while talking, brush up against him, say semi-sexual things, even if jokingly (Just make sure it's not sarcastically or in a manner in which it WOULDN'T/COULDN'T happen).
The way you WILL know that he likes you is by his body language. If he squares his body to yours when speaking, licks his lips for seemingly no reason, when he first notices you his eyebrows raise momentarily. These and others are signs. Read up on body language and attraction and good luck.

yes i believe he has interest in you just by going from what you say, if he shows off alot when your around for sure he does. and if you catch him looking your way alot that is another sign of being interested.usually guys get all flustered when they are around the girl they like.

i think he likes you a little bit. maybe try and have a serious talk with him, and ask him if he likes anyone and he may say you. I think he was joking around w/ you about the grade thing, he might like you cuz guys do that when they like someone i guess.
