Yeah I will have one in 2 weeks and the favors we will give out are gel candles with flowers we got them from the website below we also got tags and little hanging baby booties to hang with the tag so it would be something useful for our guests...
Also as for games we will be having a big stork where they will pin copied pics of me when I was a baby on the stork blanket...Also we will have men blow up balloons and stick them in their shirt and then try to tie their shoes whom ever does it first wins...

When you're hosting a Party for men and women, it's likely to be a different sort of celebration than a traditional girls-only Baby Shower. As with any Party, be sure to keep your guests in mind as you choose everything from invitations to food and activities.
Consider having the shower on a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon. Have a buffet or cookout so the guests can circulate and swap stories.
Picking a Theme will build the foundation of your successful Baby Shower Party!
Why not choose a Theme centered around his / or her favorite Sport or Sports team? If both Mom and Dad love a particular sport such as baseball, football or auto racing, make this your Theme.
Are some of the OTHER guests also pregnant? Make if FUN and invite
If you decide on a Co-ed Theme such as Sports, decorate with different sport balls. Place mini footballs, soccer balls and even golf balls around. Hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, and cracker jacks could be used as both decorations and food if the Theme is Sports.
More information, recipes and matching games can be found at allbabyshowergames.com
Happy planning!

Great Idea for A Co-Ed Shower: Make it a baby poker party!! Buy-in would be a package of diapers!! (Or just have this be what the guys are doing while the girls are playing the games and opening up the cute pajamas and booties!!) Have a casual party atmosphere.....cook-out, salad, soda, bottled water, pasta salad, etc. This would appeal to both sexes, I think!!
For a gal-only shower.....make it not QUITE as casual. Make it an afternoon shower....wtih finger sandwiches, veggies and dip, and punch (dont' forget the cake!). The games can be a lot more baby-related!!
I put a link below to my website page that features SENTIMENTAL baby shower activities. Check it out, if you like....I think there are some great, new activities on the page!
Favors for women: bath salts are always great. There is a seller on Ebay that sells these in bulk (her store link is below)....buy some from her and then put some in a cellophane bag tied with nice ribbon for the ladies. Guys are harder to shop for "favor" wise....they dont' like all the little things women do!! Maybe you could get them altoids....and then put pesonalize the boxes with shower-themed labels??
Good luck and HAVE FUN!

I went to one not too long ago. The best game was for the guys. The host had a bunch of bare baby dolls and the men had to pamper the babies using wipes, powder, etc...They were timed while doing so. It was hilarious to watch the men that didn't have a clue on what to do...
We also played the baby food jar game. Take the labels off the jars and everyone has to write down on a piece of paper what they thought the jars were....that was fun as well!
Have fun!

I've been to a couple that were pretty fun.
Games:
1. About five people were picked to go to a table with a bunch of magazines, and had to cut and tape together what they thought the couple's baby would look like. Then the couple voted on who's was best and they won a prize. It was really funny.
2. Another was when everyone got up and walked in a line past a table with a bunch of different baby items on it. They had to walk fairly quickly, and when they got back to their seats they had to list everything they saw. Whoever remembered the most won a prize. That was kind of hard though.
3. Someone walked around with different baby room items, or baby items, and everyone guessed the price for each one and wrote it down on a paper. Whoever was the closest won a prize.
I've seen gum and mints with the mom-to-be's name on them.
I hope you have fun at yours!

We passed on the games portion of the baby shower and just had a nice lunch buffet style. Very nice afternoon with all of our friends. We went to another co-ed this year, It was a pizza and beer type thing. I think Co-ed things tend to be more hang out eat food and drink with cute baby stuff to look at.

We didnt have a "co-ed" babyshower but the girls had the baby shower while the guys played poker outside. The girls brought gifts and the guys had to bring a package of diapers in order to play poker. It was a hoot!

At my sister in laws, the games we played were;
1. The host had a role of yarn(blue for a boy, pink for a girl) and they took it around to everyone with scissors, and we all cut as long of a peice as we thought her belly was. it was a lot of fun! and the winner got a prize
2. we all got paper and pen, and the spelt the babys name (of my nephew) and we made as many words out of his name as we could.
3. we all got safety pins with like 6 safety pins atached to it and everytime someone said "baby" we had to take one off. whoever had the most safety pens by the end won
well my family LOVES to eat! lol so it was like a restraunt! but if its not like that i would suggest them 6 ft sub sandwithces. good luck and have fun
p.s use your imagination!

I just went to one a few weeks ago. The best game was that the hostess melted a different kind of chocolate bar in a diaper (to look like poop).
Our job was to guess by looking, smelling or tasting (ewwww!) and write down the kind of chocolate bar it was. They used Peanut butter cups, regular hershey, payday, and snickers if I remember correctly.
It sure was fun, and to watch people sniffing 'poopy' diapers was hilarious! It's harder than you think to guess them right, by the way!
