I am on the side of "good", even if "good" is not on my side. If God is no the side of righteousness, and all that is decent in the universe, than I am with him. If not, than he is my enemy. This assumes of course, that God exists. All that I can say is, even if I'm fighting on the side of "evil", I still hope the "good" guys win!

Every nation always thinks God is on their side. Right now the Americans think God is on their side and the Arabs think God is on their side. Actually I think God is sitting on the sideline laughing his butt of at these little men of both sides.

I assume you mean shoot your enemies, since one cannot shoot God. If God were on the side of my enemies I would quickly change my tune. I would want to be in line with God's will.
