Hair N Mane is a horse shampoo. It sounds silly, but it is a shampoo that is safe for humans and is supposed to make hair shiny, softer, and longer. It's not as cheap as Suave, but it's cheaper than salon shampoo and can be bought at a feed store.

yes, I tried Lush New Solid Hair Shampoo and it really stimulates hair growth, more info and the price is at the source.

nioxin (price in the 20's depending on amount) stimulates hair follicles. it actually works. a few of my friends used it during pregnancy to prevent hair loss.

i know one! :) mane 'n tail from straight arrow, it's famous for making hair shiny and manageable. from my observation it also makes hair grow faster and voluminous. ;)
