I tried one yesterday as a way to see it for myself. I got sick of everyone telling me they where wrong for no good reason, so I tried it myself with 3 friends, and I see no demons, no suicides, no possesions, NOTHING! I think that if these things are sold in toys R us, they can't pose that much as a danger IMO. If there is any testimony against these things, tell be about what happened because I am having a HARD time finding anyone who was hurt by these things in any way whatsoever.

ouiji boards are fun, and kind of creepy (but in a good way). once, i was at a friend's party, and we did the whole ouiji board thing. we "met" a spirit (either that or someone went back on their promise and pushed the object around the board... i don't know. i find it hard to believe that we actually talked to a spirit, but whatever). we "talked" to her, and she "answered" back. she was quite nice, and definately didn't seem like a "demon." nothing bad happened. i'm still alive. and that was... what... a year ago?

despite my sketicism, i still get a bit nervous when using the ouiji board. when ur "contacting" spirits, just be nice and act polite. honestly, if you think about it, ALL spirits can't be bad.

I find that Ouiji boards can be either harmless or dangerous based upon the User using them... I've seen the serious side to using the board and it scared me from trying it again! If the conditions are right (basic seance surroundings) and everyone involved truely believes, deeply concentrates on the question or answer at hand, and that the surroundings are known to have a spirit or recent death around, then there is a possiblity of communicating with the spirits beyond- Unfortunately, you can bring in the dangerous spirits called poltergeists that can do harm to the user or get trapped between worlds and can't leave...you are stuck with them! Believe it or not, but that is why a lot of people are afraid.. but people keep buying them because they thrive on fear.

It all started with the Daemon mongers of the 1970's. They are an anti - occult group who cry out and create ( not find ) facts to make anything to do with witchcraft, voodoo, or and other spiritual practice that is not sitting in pews listening to Fire and brimstone into something Evil and in many cases outlawed. They won allot of battles. Try to find an occult section in the local library or bookstore. the best you get is a lot of fluffy new age crap. or Milton Bradly board games that are supposed to be demonic tools of Lucifer to use as a gateway into this world... marketed and sold to children. I happen to be a praticitioner of many Tools of the occult trade. My personal experience is that, those boards don't work that well. They have never worked for me. I think they may work for some people... But I can't prove it. Still coming from A practiced and experienced occult praticitoner, saying they are harmless and probably do nothing.. people will still shake in fear of the piece of cardboard with the English alphabet on it. Go figure. .

This happened about 40 years ago.

One Christmas, my father looked for a present for my older brother. In desperation he picked a ouija board. My brother was in the first year of university. After Christmas, he and my youngest sister started using the board alot. They could even get it to spell words.

Later when I did not see it I asked my mother if she knew what happened to it. She took me aside and told me this story.

It was about a week after Christmas and she had stayed up late reading. My brother came down the stairs and mom said she could immediately tell something was wrong. His face was as white as a sheet and he was trembling. Now mom has eight children and had thought she had seen about everything. She was not prepared for what happened next. My brother asked if he could sit in mom's lap and if she could just hug him. (Remember he was twenty years old.) He then related to her that he had had a horrible dream, but it was more evil, vile, and real, than anything he had ever dreamt before. He still remembered it in detail. He was scared. Mom finally calmed him down and after about an hour he was able to go back to bed. (I found out later that he did not sleep for two days.)

She went down back down stairs asking herself what could have caused such a thing. Then she thought about the ouija board. That was it. She had to get rid of it, but how? She would burn it in the fire place. It took her about 15 minutes to get the fire really hot. She then went into the dining room where the ouija was kept. She said that as she got nearer to the board, she felt an evil presence there too. She picked up the board, and went back to the fire. Then something strange happened. She had a very difficult time throwing the ouija into the fire. (When I saw "The Lord of the Rings" and Frodo had trouble thowing the ring into the fire, I was vividly reminded of my mother's story.) She said she finally overcame this presence and threw the ouija in the fire. It was then that she heard the blood curdling cries and moans. They were coming from the board. In desperation she threw more wood on the fire until the moaning ended. Needless to say she did not get much sleep that night. (I have goosebumps from my head to my toes remembering what mom told me.)

My advice "Stay away from that damned ouija!!"

Ask Sylvia Plath...

Oh yeah... You can't.

Read the story of the game that Plath and hughes played on the Ouija board one series of nights...

Spooky huh?

Only The Ouija board saw the truth...

Now she's dead....

Rest assured, there are evil spirits. That is just one way for them to access this dimension. It's nothing to be messed with. Believe me. I could tell you stories from my life in the ministry that would curl your hair.
