What is the recovery time after gallbladder surgery?

I had mine removed laparascopically 12 years ago & I felt pretty good within 3 days. I was digging my Mom's garden with her less than a week after my surgery. That was 12 yrs ago & I've heard with medical advances it is even easier now. I was really scared to have the surgery ( I am totally phobic of medical stuff) & it was a piece of cake. I suffered w/ the attacks for a few years & if I'd known how easy the surgery was I never would have waited. Let's put it this way, a gall bladder attack is MUCH worse than the surgery!!! Make sure you get a surgeon who does this procedure on a regular basis.

I do not understand how a lot time you wish to have It's most likely exclusive for each and every character character. When I had gallbladder sugery I used to be out for two-three weeks. It is dependent upon the way you heal. even though I wasn't in a pleasant deal of ache after per week, Whenever I coughed, sneezed or had a bowel motion, the ache in my belly used to be very severe. I did not desire to return to paintings having to manage that. That used to be inspite of my surgical procedure being laparoscopic. I had no headaches and my medical professional used to be exceptional.

I just had my gallbladder removed laparoscopicly two weeks ago. My recovery time was fairly short - I was allowed to drive again and return to my normal routine in one week's time, and most of the discomfort was gone by then as well.

Just take the first few days nice and easy and the recovery time will be short and go smoothly.
