Since he is 2 you should start with the abc's,123's,alphabet song etc... showing him how to grab a pencil correctly, how to paint and draw, do puzzles, read him books .... That way when he goes to preschool he knows all this and what he doesnt know, he will enjoy learning anyways!!!!!!!!!!!

It's never too early to learn. There's only too early to place them in the childcare due to their low immunity.
Ideally to place them in Childcare/Daycare when are they 3 and above.
Aside from that, as parents, you need to ensure that the environment and the food provided meet the healthy requirements. Also find out the curriculum that they offer. Get a time table if possible and make a few comparison before enrolling them.
Also children in the full day are more interactive than those in the half day.

Teach your toddler as much as you can, but be aware of his/her limitations. What I mean is...if he/she can grasp that A is for Apple...great! Just don't get frustrated if they can't rattle off their multiplication tables by the time they're 4.
So many parents want to make their kids 'super babies' and what ends up happening, is the kid becomes a source of entertainment for the neigbors and friends "Billy, (age 5), what's the hypotenuse?" and the kid answers, but really doesn't understand what they're saying. Teach him/her to benefit him/her and make it fun, and you'll do great!

I don't think its ever too early to teach kids anything you want. It's easier to teach them things that they're interested in, so if they ask about something then go all out.

I think they should learn everything they can, why wouldn't you want to teach them as much as possible?
