Both organizations have outstanding fighters in every weight class...why must so many idiots claim Pride is the better org or vise versa? and then other idiots have to use the example of Chuck getting beat when he fought in Japan or the fact that Pride has Fedor. It practically reminds me of the whole wrestling WWF vs WCW crap...makes me sick! It's not like those of you which claim one is better than the other fight for the organization or have anything to do with it! Just enjoy the great sport of MMA and admit there are great fighters everywhere who we'd love to see battle it out in the ring! I don't pay much attention to the smaller organizations that often, but I'm sure they have a few great fighters as well. Bottom line: support MMA and great MMA fighters and stop crying about the better organization!

I agree, Im a fan of MMA not UFC or PrideFC, but this problem has been solved because now they are no longer competing, it will be like AFC and the NFC are two leagues the NFL. Seriously they will interechange fighters and a superbowl at the end of the year and everything, its a great year for the sport of MMA, it will be on ESPN by the end of the year I garantee!

I know what you mean. All pro-fighting companies all have great fighters. Now this may not have anything to do with your question but there is some loser called "magicmarker" who keeps saying that the UFC is the best fighting company ever. Currently he is in the wrestling section saying stuff about how its fake and that UFC is 100% real. Everyone knows its fake but he won't go away. So be prepared because he might come into this section and start to say that the Pride organization is fake and UFC is number 1.

Yeah like Joseph B said, this problem has been solved because there will now be fights between the organizations and we will know once and for all who has the better fighters. Thank goodness too because like you I was tired of hearing this crap.

You know what? It doesn't matter anymore, because the owners of UFC own Pride, and they have the same rules, so, despite all technicalities, they are the same organization.
Other than that, I agree with you. I liked the ability to have knees to the head.
