Why are you answering questions concerning God & Jesus? I am so tired of hearing the Atheist point of view. When I ask a question to Christians all I usually get are rude Atheist answers- We already know you don't believe so will it ever be possible to keep your opinions to yourselves?

Please don't paint all us atheists with the same brush. My guess is that there is no greater proportion of atheists who take that kind of rude and disrespectful stance than of the general population.

Good manners and tolerance have nothing to do with religion and belief or disbelief in god. They have to do with how one respects others, regardless of their beliefs.

I hope you get more serious, contemplative responses in the future.

I know this is not the answer your hoping for, but everyone is entitled to answer and it's everyone opinion you receive. Sorry you ask and have to shift through the idiot and inconsiderate answers! As Christians we are suppose to be understanding, and lead non believers to the truth, and lead them to salvation. We need to let them know hell is real weather they believe or not and surely that is where they will end up unless they Accept Jesus!

P.S. to all of those who hide their answer what is it that your afraid of? why hide? there's a good reason to get some Jesus! He can give you boldness along with so much more!!!

Be encouraged, and keep standing on the Rock. Those that wait upon the Lord will not grow wary he will give them strength!

God bless you, I hope this helps!

This is a forum for answers, not a bulletin board for religious opinion. Most religious questions posted here are not looking for answers, just for amens. There are other websites that cater to such. On this website you have the opportunity to see different points of view, perhaps learn something. And you are not supposed to be addressing your group of believers, you are addressing the Yahoo Community. That includes people of every stripe. This is not a blog for Christians. Read the rules for this website before getting all sanctimonious. I get tired too, of Christians selling sky fairies. I'm full up on crazy, know what I mean?

These pages are all about expressing opinion.
Are your kind the only ones permitted to have an opinion?
Why should a section on Religion be strictly limited to the deluded?
Do you not see the value of intelligent debate?
Do you NEVER question your beliefs? I bet not.
We have to do it for you.

God is a total fabrication and does not exist now or ever before, save in the fanciful imagination of the very childish. Give it up! Get some reality into your life.
At some time, with diligence, you could come to realise that intelligence wins out over blind faith every time and that time cannot come too soon so that you stop wasting your life on a myth, setting aside logic, reason, common-sense and scientific evidence in order to do so.
I bet that you are convinced that prayer brings results. Not a chance. Easily proved to be a waste of time.
Time to cast aside childish things and enter the grim reality of truth. It won't be easy BUT by we atheists chipping away at the delusions, there are some converts. You could be one of them.

"Imagine no religion - it's easy if you try" ... John Lennon, murdered by a born-again christian who heard voices in his head telling him to do it ... Yeah, right!

I repeat:
One does not have to be an astronaut to be able to be intersted in talking about space travel.
There are many other analogies in the same vein but they all extrapolate back to:
One does not have to believe in a god to be interested in discussing this flaw in the human psyche.
Do you get it? Finally - do you really understand?

What you're looking for is a moderated newsgroup, not Yahoo Answers. Rest assured that if you bring your illogical questions here, formulated by muddy thinking and fuzzy non-logic, we'll step right up and express our opinions.

If you ask a question, you have to accept the fact that EVERYBODY can answer. Some people will be polite, some will be rude, you will agree with some and others you won't. Some people will give answers that are completely off-the-wall and just won't make any sense.

Get over it, Amy. We're here. You have to deal with us in the streets, at work, at school. Everywhere. Even here. Our numbers are growing and yours are declining.

We won't be keeping our opinions to ourselves today. Or tomorrow. Or ever. You expressed YOUR opinion by asking this question, so you get our opinions in return.

Deal with it, or go play somewhere else.

''Will it ever be possible to keep your opinions to yourselves?''
We Atheists can ask you religious people the very same question! I am also tired of Jeova's witnesses coming to my house, waisting MY valuable time on trying to convert me. Us Atheist don't go to peoples' houses and trying to make them see sense! I'm an Atheist and I'm here sticking up for ALL ATHEISTS! People see us as the monster, but the monsters are the people who actually believe in god or jesus. Take Hitler for example,he killed millions and millions of innocent people because he wanted to ''save the human race'' Hitler believed in god! And do his actions prove this...NO!!! Atheists live happy and normal lives without the faith in an invisible being! I mean,do we have to believe in god so we cannot kill? We all know we shouldn't kill or steal, but we don't need ''god'' to know that! The ten commandments states that we should not lie...but god lied many times!!! ''God'' also killed and even disrespected his mother!!!! ''God'' himself broke his own laws!!! Do we really need him as an example? I don't think so. Atheists actually live happier and healthier lives. And one more thing,if you don't like receiving answers from all people, don't even bother asking questions like this one.

it's called, freedom of the press, honey. atheists are allowed to write whatever they want on these forums. get used to it.

for the record, i'm not an atheist, but i don't like it when people stereotype and put down a very large group of people, simply because of what they believe.

for your own sake, just try to be accepting of other people's religious beliefs... sure, there are some rude atheists, but there are some even RUDER christians, too (*gasp* who would've thought!?).

p.s. Paul S. is SOO right! =D

Maybe you should ask the question in a closed forum, then--i.e., on a religious website. If you ask a question here, where legitimately anyone can answer, you should expect irrelevant, strange, silly answers. That doesn't mean shouldn't still ask though--just deal with the answers you get.
