I heard that my exbf said that he broke up with me because i was cheating on him. (Which is not true.. I always loved and respected him. We broke up because he wasn't in love with me anymore.) What's odd is that he actually said this after he found out that i was dating my actual bf and he said it to my bf's brother in-law. I really don't get why he said such a thing?

Some men are incapable of taking responsibility for their own actions. Your ex is a big baby who wont face reality and take the blame for his own actions. I am hoping your current boyfriend knows why you broke up with your ex and isn't concerned by anything he might say. Your ex is just trying to make himself look good and just trying to hurt you. Maybe someone lied to him and stuff or maybe he didnt have a real answer to why he broke up with you so like he just made somthing up to make you look bad so that people wouldnt feel sorry for you n him not being together anymore
