We have been dating for one year tommorow, and I still have no Idea what to do. I don't want to sound cheap, but we have both been having financial problems lately, and sadly, I can spend around $30. Any Ideas? (she is 23 and I am 20)

Write her a love note/poem, make her a nice candlelight dinner, run her some bath water, give her roses. Dress up and tell her to dress up. Make the day special, be romantic, pull out her chair, hold her hand when you talk to her.

you could take her out for lunch!
you could buy her a nice bunch of flowers!
you could get some help to make a simple dinner and rent out a romantic movie.
you might even be able to buy her a small pendant(sterling silver) if she wears silver. you can find some nice pendents or rings for around $30 at some jewellery stores..
or maybe you could suprise her with a picnic somewhere(if the weather permits) she would probably like that too. some chicken and champagne would'nt be that expensive... good luck!!!! ..and happy anniversary!

The best thing you can do is make the night extra special for her. You don't have to spend money to do that. Sentimental things like making dinner for her and lighting candles play music. Dance with her in the living room to a favorite song. Those are the things that girls remember the most and will earn you points with her for later on.

This has been coming up for a while, any special reason why you waited until the day before the event to try to decide how to celebrate?

Get a bottle of wine or her fave adult beverage, and rent a good movie...that can be done within your budget.

Happy Anniversary.

$30? A single rose and a candle lit dinner at your place. Walmart has great CD's of romantic music for cheap for background music. Get a bottle of Martini and Rossi champagne (very good and sweet about $12)

Where do you guys live... any attractions around that are free...... Are maybe cook her dinner... they have easy dinner to throw in the pot in the frooze section..... and then have some wine... run her a bath witha few candles and music..... then watch a movie. Cater to her every need for that day.

if your girlfriend is deeply in love with you, she could understand the financial situation and would not expect a lot from you...Think back in the past what was the most interest thing you and her shared together on the first dating day...and if that thing does not cost any pennies but needs a lot of attention, passionate love...etc...you should redo it to remind her your first ever golden moment to be known each other to fall in love...

take her on a picnic in a nice park, or take her to a botanical garden. girls love flowers and botanical gardens are usually free and beautiful. take a camera to capture the moments.
u could take her to the place u went for your first date or where u first noticed her.
