What did the Vet tell you about caring for her? Did he tell you she would be very sick until she died or that she will get better with time? Or are you saying you just talked to a Vet who told you she wouldn't die, but it wasn't a regular Vet consultation where they examine the dog and prescribe treatment?
I am so sorry to hear your dog is one of the many severely under-reported cases of animals effected by the contaminated food. I hope she is not so ill she has to be put to sleep, but you do need the Vet to tell you how to care for her to help her get well or whether she can't get well and euthanizing her would be the most humane thing to do.
Hope she can get better.

Well if your vet said she is not going to die. Didn't the vet give or try something to help her get better???? If she's suffering the vet should have tried to help her. Of course I would keep her and definetly either find a new vet or ask the vet to help give her something to help her out.

Wow im sorry to hear that she ate that dog food. I would try to help her make it through as much as possible but if you think shes suffering to much then you might need to put her down. I just put a dog down 5 weeks ago and im still sad but it actually felt good to take my puppy out of pain. Unless she gets so bad she wont or cant do anything then you probably dont need to put her down.
Good luck!
