I found out that the gloves that we used in labs are Nitrile gloves and not latex. Supposedly, Nitrile gloves are allergy free. My hands get red and itchy once i put it on. What could I be reacting to?

I think the gloves are non-powdered too.

You may be like me,
I can't use latex,or any glove that is coated with any kind of powder.
I found out last year, that I was allergic to latex, and my employer ordered non latex gloves for me,but I was allergic to the powder that is in the gloves, also.
I now use non latex, and non powered ones.
