I'm pretty sure there's Marines, Navy, Air force...and Australians...there were Japanese the UK is still there and a bunch of other countries involved. Perhaps the rest are not there in the same numbers but we weren't really the ones with the vendetta so.....I wish none of them were there fighting the one mans war on Saddam (not terrorism). All these defense personnel are being put in harms way unnecessarily to serve one mans ego. What will happen when this actually a just reason who will be left?

Because what a lot of people don't know is that there WERE weapons of mass destruction but they were moved into Syria. Remember when Saddam was dragging his feet in letting the weapons inspectors into his storage areas? This has been confirmed over and over again by Iraqi reporters. It's just that our media doesn't want us to know about it so that their agenda can be completed. Don't Americans understand that the Media is the most powerful force we have? They can make people believe anything just by reporting it. They use it for their own advantage and to suit their own agenda. They are liars with a capital L and Americans are so gullible that they just take everything at face value without really researching for themselves. Americans need to learn to think for themselves again and stop being moved around like pawns on a chess board.

You know, I cannot figure this out. As one of your answerers said that is the $500,000,000,000 question. As far as the cost of these wars goes, nobody seems to be able to equate the $400,000,000,000 loss of business while the stock market was closed after 9/11 as being the intial cost of these wars. Yes, yes, I know we were not at war until after the attacks. But that is a technicality. The cost is still there.

Well because Bush told them to go, though i dont see the point of this war at all. I think it is pointless and risky. Many families have lost their children, brothers, sisters, best friends, aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, and even moms or dads. That is really hard. The president started this whole war because of threats to his father. I think the war is just a big mistake and never needed to happen. I cannot see why anyone would risk the lives of others.
