A drunk does not necessarily have to be an alcoholic. If you're drunk, you're under the influence, and then you have a hangover the next morning. Drunks do not necessarily drink excessively 24/7.

A drunk is some one who is well, drunk. An Alchoholic is one who is addicted to alchohol, but not neccesarily drunk at the time.

A drunk gets drunk occasionally, an alcoholic is drunk most of the time.

I thought you had something important to say.
Actually when it involves alcohol and it's effects on the body I don't see ANY difference. Neither one is using their brain to make effective decisions for their life.
