The cost of bell and rogers is high. I saw Primus bundle deals which has unlimited long distance (north america only) with full phone service and high speed internet for $70 or $35-45 for home phone and high speed internet lite. Is this a good deal?

I used to be with Bell (high-speed edition) but I did a lot of online gaming and work via VPN from home. Bell was routing the calls from Montreal down through a route in New York that was unreliable and so you would be on and suddenly lose connection for about 10 seconds. This was just enough to boot you out of the games and sometimes hang up the VPN connection.

I gave them proof by using a utility called PingPlotter and showed them my logs of what was happening (it shows where the connection is dying and how long the network pings would take at each segment) but they were never able to correct the problem.

I finally decided to switch to Videotron high-speed and have had no problems since.

I realize that the connection in New York was not part of the Bell responsibility and not really a problem with their service, but as another person mentioned, I became disillusioned with the quality of the support and the responses I got about my problem, and so decided a change was in order.

I've never tried Rogers internet, but I do have a cell phone that is part of Rogers network and their service has been great.
