i dont think that it was meant as an insult but just something that he noticed and it wasnt supposed to be made a big deal. you arent wrong, it could be taken as an insult but also a compliment. like you have the skin of a 10 year old would be a good way to take it but another good way would be just to ignore it because it wasnt meant for anything, just something that he noticed about u.

It seems to be a rather minor offense, but maybe one that struck you as wrong given that when we're younger, all we want to be is older, so the very thought of being perceived as something other is slighlty upsetting. Everyone has little things that annoy them even though it might defy logic or common sense, but just learn to put it aside as one of those things. you're right, very soon, it will, despite any tendencies on your part, be very nice to hear.

I don't see anything wrong with what was said, you look young, don't make something out of nothing. Enjoy being 19 and looking young!

why are you going to take offense to something that someone said that you don't even know? I could call you all kinds of things and in the end it wont matter one bit because I don't know you and you don't me. Take it as a compliment and smile graciously.

Don't take it as an insult..if he really cares about you..he won't care what they think about you. My boyfriend is 18 and i'm 15.....i guess it's easier for him 'cause i look older...but i know that if i didnt he wouldn't care. Just tell your boyfriend how you felt when they said that and...if he cares..he'll tell 'em to knock it off. Hope i helped a little.

Depends on what he means, young as in like 12 year old? Maybe he said it because your boyfriend likes 'younger girlls'

Nope it's not offensive... I'm almost 19 and people think i'm either 22 after i talk... or nine when i don't... (maturity shows when i speak).... i'm short and when people say your young... take it as a complement.....
